I saw this quote on my meditation app recently and feel it expresses the way I make Art…usually mistakes and making a few wrong turns are big parts of the process for me. 

I got interviewed recently for an article about intergenerational friendships and was asked which friend and I shared the widest age-difference. I said: “That would be my wonderful artist friend WELLS”. 

 I took this pic of him last summer in Toronto on my last visit. He and I always make some Art together whenever we have a reunion.
